As Communications Lead, Elizabeth oversees COVEY’s website, social media, newsletters and marketing materials. She also supports with Volunteer recruitment, retention and relations, including the Young Ambassadors Project.

Before joining COVEY, Elizabeth spent 5 years studying and working within Multimedia Journalism, where she gained experience at Radio Clyde, Insight Radio, The Scottish Funding Council and Flag Media. Elizabeth then spent 10 years as a Primary Teacher. During this time, she developed a particular interest in Expressive Arts across the curriculum, helping children explore the benefits of creativity on their wellbeing.

Joining COVEY has allowed Elizabeth to bring both her passion for supporting young people and her journalism experience together.
