Lee leads the senior staff team to develop and expand COVEY’s befriending, mentoring and family support services in line with need and COVEY’s strategic direction.  Lee is responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing the key business functions (finance, operations, income generation, communications, HR, IT, and volunteering).  He also represents COVEY and the wider third sector throughout South Lanarkshire through his involvement as a board member of VASLan.

Lee has 20 years’ experience in income generation, partnership development, stakeholder engagement, leading teams, networking, strategy and change management.  His prior roles have included senior leadership positions at various charities such as the UK’s largest children’s charity (Barnardo’s) and the UK’s largest youth charity (The Prince’s Trust).
