Spreading the Word!

COVEY went along to a Volunteer Fair hosted by The Wise Group, a social enterprise which connects people with opportunities to build their skills and experience.

We got to work setting up our stall before sharing all the different volunteering roles we have. This was also a great chance to speak to other charities about our different projects and ways we could work together to connect people to voluntary roles that best suit them.

We even bumped into Stephanie, who spent 2 years volunteering with COVEY. She kindly shared her experience:

"I wanted to volunteer while I was studying. I used to love the groups. It was so rewarding to see the young people progress and it was always quite emotional when they were ready to move on. I'd love to come back one day!"
