COVEY’s North Lanarkshire Befriending Project supports young people aged 8-18 who are living in the North Lanarkshire Council area and are identified as requiring additional support. This may be due to social isolation, vulnerability or disability.

This project offers relationship-based support through befriending and mentoring (within a group or on a 1-1 basis). Through weekly sessions, our children and young people get the chance to take part in activities and trips to develop their wellbeing and confidence, while forming lasting friendships in a nurturing and supportive environment.
