If you’re looking for a challenge in 2025, please consider supporting COVEY by taking part in the Kiltwalk 2025!

What is it?

The Kiltwalk is a sponsored walk to raise funds for charities across Scotland. There are different lengths of walk depending on your fitness level and how far you wish to challenge yourself. The Glasgow event runs from Glasgow Green to Balloch if you sign up for the Mighty Stride, which is a whopping 23 miles. You can also walk 14 miles (the Big Stroll) or 3 miles (the Wee Wander) if you so wish.

You can sign up at the Kiltwalk website and select a charity to fundraise for. COVEY (Community Volunteers Enabling You) is on the list, so why not pick us this year? Last year, the Kiltwalk raised £7 million for 1,650 charities, with 32,619 people donning tartan to take part.

When is it?

The Kiltwalk happens across Scotland - the dates for the events close to Lanarkshire are:

- Glasgow: 26-27 April

- Edinburgh: 14 September

How much does it cost?
